Organic Coconut Sugar vs. Stevia vs. Sucralose

Do you ever wonder what is sweetening your food/beverages? Is one sweetener better than another? We took a closer look at the 3 most common sweeteners of choice:

1. Organic Coconut Sugar is a natural sweetener that is less processed and has a lower glycemic index than table sugar.

2. Stevia is a natural sweetener derived from the stevia plant. It is much sweeter than regular sugar but has no affect on blood sugar (glycemic index of 0). 

3. Sucralose (often marketed as Splenda) is a lab-created artificial sweetener. It has relatively comparable sweetness to table sugar but has no affect on blood sugar (glycemic index of 0). 

As a result, if we were to pick a winner, it seems as though Stevia would be the ideal sweetener of choice as it is both natural and has no affect on blood sugar.
